I started this New Year with completing the Lumbee Tribe pendant. It took me a few days of beading and unbeading to figure out what I was looking for. I have never made anything like this before. Below are images of the finished pendent.
I am still trying to figure out who Joseph Ivey Senior was married to. I also wonder what Joseph Ivey Sr was doing before he appeared in the census.

On a cousin’s Ancestry page they had a note that Joseph Ivey Sr was the Burns family’s African link. I wonder how true that is.
