On December 27th 1925 Eugene Robert Sessions was born in Ripley Oklahoma. His parents were Omar Wallace Sessions and Cora Eisenhour Sessions. He loved to write and perform country music. His nickname was “Deadshot” when he was serving in the US Navy on the U.S.S. Tennessee during WW2. While on that ship he was awarded a Purple Heart for a battle in Iwo Jima. Eugene was in charge of larger guns on deck. Happy Heavenly birthday to my Great Uncle Eugene Robert Sessions.
