I have been using a sewing machine since I was 15 years old. I began sewing sock monkeys by hand for my friends. I have always loved making jewelry too. I have seen photos of Eliza Jane Sessions sewing a quilt. I read an article about Rachel Aumus (Eliza Jane Sessions‘ daughter) winning a fiddle contest. Through our connection to the Womack family through Elizabeth Womack who married Robert Eugene Sessions we are related to actors Roger Womack, Roy Rogers and James Garner. James Augustus Sessions knew 3 Native languages Choctaw, Creek, and Cherokee. My Great Uncle Eugene Sessions, My Great Aunt Naomi Sessions, and My Great Uncle Donald Sessions all sang country music and or played the guitar.
Francis C Sessions collected art in his life time and donated it to the create the first Art museum in Columbus Ohio. Some of that art work is still in the museum. He also did extensive work on preserving the Sessions Family history by compiling research and letters and turning it into a book.
